I’m currently in a situation at work.
I’ve come to realize I’m hardly skilled enough for the position I occupy. There’s so much for me to learn and I can’t even begin to find the head or tail of it.
My supervisor who is supposed to be my go to person for assistance is always busy and not very patient.

I’m frustrated because I’m too slow, and hence not as productive as I want to be. I struggle to get work done, I study a lot to help me do my work but I am overwhelmed my my work. I hardly sleep because I’m always trying to study more or finish up a task, my health is affected, I don’t even remember what the outdoors is like anymore.
My life practically revolves around work, and I hate it! Worst thing is this field is not one I’m passionate about. I’ve decided to leave and pursue the career path I desire.

I know that it’s important I recognize when I do not fit somewhere, and make the move now so I don’t regret it for the rest of my life.

It’s a goal I have set out to achieve, it’s scary but fuck all else eh?

But then again moving to a different department, doing something completely new will help…
