The relationship we have with ourself certainly matters too and to foster that, I believe spending some time alone can be healthy. But I agree that my relationships are the most fulfill part of living. Being with others always energises me.. and THAT’S how I measure a good relationship.
It shows up even more as we age and all the things we thought mattered fall away as insignificant and we can take (and give) great comfort in our relationships.
