I don’t agree with “your brain cannot tell the difference between a deadline from your boss or from yourself”. Wrong for me…if I paid attention to “self imposed deadlines” I would not be a victim of procrastination. I don’t do what I told myself to do. I am a rebel …IF I can get away with it…I know that if I don’t do “it” by a certain time, who cares…it’s not going to be a big deal. My cleaning or paperwork or laundry will still be there….but if there is a meeting on Tues. at 11 am & I am responsible for having the report ready, I know I HAVE to do it. Big difference. My brain knows, believe me.
