Nicely written and very practical way to look at college education, especially in today’s economy where continuous learning is the only way forward. I spent 6 years in college too & can very positively relate to your article. And after 15 years in corporate world, I still value college time and learning. Here’s what I remember in discussion in “History of Science” class – quoting Einstein.

“The true purpose of education is to train the mind to think. For that reason, it is priceless.”
